HTFC was entrusted with all site development planning for the ambitious relocation of the clubhouse and grounds for the Southwood Golf and Country Club. The new facility was carefully integrated with the neighbouring historic Trappist Monastary Ruins to the east. Together with LM Architectural Group, the design for the new clubhouse and grounds nestles proudly on the bank of the Seine River with expansive views to the scenic golf course and river corridor to the south. The arcing drop-off/bag drop loop adds convenience to the visitor experience, while the generous plaza space provides an inviting frontage to the new pro-shop. The south-facing dining room overlooks a multi-level patio, enclosed gazebo space, and several garden sitting areas set within the lawn overlooking the river. Large shade trees frame the views while extensive planting beds surround the new buildings.
