Allan’s main areas of focus are large, multidisciplinary projects for educational and institutional clients, as well as recreational projects of varying scales. He has worked extensively with First Nations communities in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario and has over twenty-five years of experience managing site development projects throughout the region.
Allan infuses his professional practice with the flavours of the Canadian landscape, its natural processes and regional traditions. He completed undergraduate studies at Queen’s University, with a major in Physical Geography and obtained his Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Manitoba. Allan is a cycling commuter and sailing enthusiast. A passionate wildlife and nature photographer, he donates images to sports and performing arts organizations.
